# Glossary

* **Allow / Neutral / Deny:** Direct grant choices. Deny overrides Allow.
* **Inherited Permission:** A grant applied at a parent resource that flows down to children.
* **Child Resource Permission:** A grant made at a resource to affect its children.
* **Umbrella Action:** Higher-level action that implies granular actions (e.g., `read_project`).
* **System Team:** Special team (All Users, Guest) managed by Panomics.
